Khaberni - The fire and rescue teams in Fairfax County carried out a successful rescue operation for two cleaning workers, who were stuck at a height of 15 floors after their window cleaning basket experienced a mechanical failure in the town of Tysons, Virginia, USA.

The teams rushed to the incident site immediately after receiving the report at 9:17 AM on Thursday, December 4 (Khaberni called December), and began to accurately assess the situation to determine the best way to ensure the workers' safety.

According to American media, the rescue teams advanced to the roof of the building, where they analyzed the risks, inspected the rope anchorage points, and assessed the stability of the suspended basket, in addition to considering the surrounding wind conditions.

The rescue teams then established a dual rope system to control the descent of the workers, securing the ropes on the building's steel structures to ensure the highest levels of safety during the operation.

The first worker was lowered at 10:07 AM after confirming the safety of his harness and securing it with the rope system.

After that, the ropes were readjusted to complete the rescue operation of the second worker, who was successfully lowered at 10:24 AM. The Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that no injuries were recorded, and everyone returned to their homes safely.
