Khaberni - The Ministry of Local Administration has reviewed reports from the Meteorological Department and the weather maps received under the early warning system agreement, which indicate the expected weather instability tomorrow, Saturday.
According to a statement from the ministry today, Friday, the ministry has distributed maps showing areas of high, very high, medium, and low risk, as well as critical sites.
The heads of municipal committees, heads of joint services councils, and municipal affairs directors have been directed to inspect these sites on the ground today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday, to ensure the readiness of valleys, flood channels, tunnels, box culverts, pipe culverts, and stormwater drains.
The ministry instructed the heads of municipal committees, directors in all municipalities and joint services councils, and municipal affairs directors to personally oversee the preparations, open emergency rooms, and coordinate with relevant authorities including administrative rulers, civil defense, and the Ministry of Public Works, to ensure the protection of citizens' lives and properties.
The ministry emphasized that any negligence in implementing the required measures or in monitoring hazardous sites will expose the delinquents to accountability.
