The weather today, Friday, remains pleasant in most areas, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes, and a weak possibility of light and scattered showers of rain, and the winds are moderate southeast, sometimes active.

According to the meteorological department report, tomorrow, Saturday, there will be a slight rise in temperatures, and the weather will be unstable and slightly warm in most areas with clouds appearing at various altitudes, with the chance of light and scattered showers of rain intermittently, and the winds are moderate to active southeast with strong gusts sometimes causing dust in many areas especially in desert areas.

At night, the cloud amounts increase at various altitudes, and rain showers are expected in different places across the kingdom, sometimes heavy in some areas, accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to floods in valleys and low-lying areas including the city of Aqaba and the Dead Sea, and the winds are moderate southwest, sometimes active.

On Sunday, temperatures significantly decrease due to the effect of a relatively cold and humid air mass. The weather will be relatively cold in most areas and partly to mostly cloudy at times, and there is still a chance for scattered showers of rain intermittently in parts of southern and eastern regions of the kingdom, and limited parts of the northern areas, and gradually in the evening and night, the chance of precipitation weakens, and the winds are moderate west active at times.

On Monday, another decrease in temperatures occurs with the weather remaining relatively cold in most areas, with clouds appearing at low altitudes in the north and center of the kingdom, and the winds are moderate southwest.

Maximum and minimum temperatures in east Amman today range from 21 - 11 degrees Celsius, in west Amman 19 - 9, in the northern highlands 16 - 9, in the Sharah highlands 18 - 8, in desert areas 22 - 10, in plain areas 21 - 11, in the northern Jordan Valley 28 - 14, in the southern Jordan Valley 29 - 16, at the Dead Sea 28 - 15, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 28 - 16 degrees Celsius.
