Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, received on Thursday in his office at the General Command, the Qatari Ambassador in Amman, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani.
During the meeting, Al-Huneiti discussed with the ambassador ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional scene.
The Qatari ambassador expressed his appreciation for Jordan's pivotal role under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting security and peace in the region and the area, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint cooperation to serve the interests of the armed forces in both countries.
