Khaberni - The Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, has instructed the administrative governors to release (453) administrative detainees, starting today, Thursday.
This decision comes within the framework of measures adopted by the ministry aimed at providing the released individuals with the opportunity to reintegrate into society, enhancing their chances for rehabilitation, and enabling them to resume their normal lives among their families and communities, after their files and the nature of their cases had been reviewed and the sufficiency of their detention periods has been considered.
On the other hand, this decision reinforces the ministry's humanitarian approach to handling administrative detention in accordance with the guarantees stipulated in the law, parallel to considering legal and security measures aimed at restricting the criminal activity of dangerous individuals.
