Khaberni - A group of children and their relatives, numbering 140 people, returned to the Gaza Strip via King Hussein Bridge on Wednesday after the children completed their treatment in Jordanian hospitals.
All patients, according to medical reports issued by the hospitals, completed all stages of treatment, where they were provided with the highest levels of medical care and their families received the best hosting services.
The children received the necessary medical care, after they previously arrived in the kingdom through the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, launched by the Kingdom to provide medical aid to the people of the besieged sector.
Since the launch of the initiative, Jordan announced that the patients and their companions would return to Gaza after completing their treatment so that Jordan could evacuate a new batch of patients for treatment in the kingdom's hospitals, thereby embodying Jordan's enduring stance in supporting the Palestinians and securing their presence on their land and not contributing in any way to the displacement of the Palestinians from their land.
Since the beginning of the medical evacuation operations in early March last year, hundreds of Gazan children continue their treatment journey in Jordan.
The Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative is one of the initiatives implemented by Jordan since the start of the war on Gaza, aiming to alleviate human suffering, and includes sending field hospitals and specialist clinics, and convoys of medical and food aid.
