Khaberni - Jordan has achieved new progress for the third consecutive year on the Global Knowledge Index for 2025, reaching rank 73 out of 195 countries globally, compared to rank 88 out of 141 in 2024, and rank 97 out of 133 countries in 2023.
According to the executive program of the 2023-2025 Economic Modernization Vision, which includes implementing action plans to improve Jordan's competitiveness in a number of international indices, including the Global Knowledge Index, the government adopted an executive action plan to improve Jordan’s ranking in the report by the Economic Modernization and Development Committee, which was prepared by the Ministry of Education, the entity responsible for directing all efforts related to this index.
According to a press release issued today, Wednesday, by the Ministry of Education, the ministry has worked in previous years to coordinate with relevant entities to analyze Jordan’s results in the index and identify priorities for improving competitiveness, and to circulate and monitor the implementation of the plan.
This progress reflects Jordan's firm commitment to developing the knowledge system in Jordan and enhancing its competitiveness in international indices, as part of efforts to achieve the goals and targets of the Economic Modernization Vision aimed at enhancing the Jordanian knowledge-based economy, which relies on innovation and technology.
