Khaberni - Al-Salt's team continued its campaign to defend its title in the Union Shield championship after defeating Al-Hussein Irbid with a clean goal, as part of the sixth round.
The only goal in the match that took place at Prince Muhammad Stadium in Zarqa was scored by the player "Sheikhna Simagya" at the 17th minute.
Al-Salt raised its score to second place in the championship standings with 14 points, trailing by just one point behind the leader Al-Faisaly, while Al-Hussein's tally remained frozen at fourth place with 11 points.
