Refusing to face an Israeli Jordanian AlRamahi withdraws from the Kickboxing World Semifinals

Khaberni  -  Jordanian player Saeed Al-Ramahi (22 years old) announced his withdrawal from the men's semi-finals (63 kg category) at the Kickboxing World Cup taking place in Thailand, doing so in refusal to face an Israeli player, despite his strong chances of competing for the gold medal.

Al-Ramahi's decision came after a strong performance in the tournament, where he displayed impressive skills that qualified him for the advanced rounds, before choosing to withdraw in adherence to his principled stance.

Ramzi Al-Ramahi, father of the Jordanian kickboxing champion Saeed, confirmed that this decision reflects a national and moral stance, emphasizing that "facing an Israeli player is unacceptable in light of the ongoing daily massacres, and at a time when Al-Aqsa Mosque is being closed and the populations of the region are being targeted".
