Khaberni - The owners of Manchester United have decided to offer 200 million euros to sign Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid star, next summer, amid an ongoing contract renewal crisis between the player and the club, which is set to expire in June 2027.
Vinicius Junior is tied to Real Madrid with a contract lasting until the summer of 2027, yet negotiations between him and the club have ceased due to his financial demands, which Florentino Perez's administration deems "exorbitant". He wishes to receive an annual salary of 30 million euros, akin to his French teammate Kylian Mbappe, while the capital club is offering 20 million euros, the same salary he currently earns.
The Spanish site "Defensa Central" has revealed that Manchester United intends to buy the Brazilian player's contract for 200 million euros, with club officials thinking of making him "the new Cristiano Ronaldo" and benefiting from his fame and constant competition for the Ballon d'Or as well as his artistic value, while Real Madrid intends to wait a while before responding to the offer, awaiting the outcome of negotiations with player number "7" when they resume.
Vinicius has become a "headache" for Real Madrid, as he clashes with opposing players and their fans, and the stands chant against him each time the club visits a new stadium, while he has sparked tensions within the club after expressing his dissatisfaction with his coach Xabi Alonso during last month's "El Clasico" against Barcelona when he protested being substituted during the match.
