Khaberni - The General Manager of the National Aid Fund, Khetam Al-Shanikat, announced the graduation of an additional 550 families from benefit programs after their members joined the workforce, making the total number of families who have exited the benefit programs since the launch of the National Employment Program 1,194 families.
According to a statement from the fund on Tuesday, Shanikat said that 1,273 beneficiaries are still receiving aid despite having joined the workforce, within the grace period provided by the fund to ensure the stability of their living conditions through job opportunities available to them through the National Employment Program.
She added that the Economic Empowerment Program, which represents one of its most prominent strategic work pillars, continues to achieve a tangible impact in improving the living standards of the beneficiary families.
She pointed out that this data was based on information extracted from the "Register" platform, and monitored through social security subscriptions of those who joined the workforce, which showed that those who continued in jobs for more than a year were distributed among 1,296 males and 1,171 females, reflecting the program's impact in providing sustainable job opportunities and contributing to raising the living standards of the beneficiary families.
Shanikat emphasized the importance of the partnership with the Ministry of Labor, and the necessity of integrating national efforts for economic support to the fund's beneficiaries to shift them from relying on assistance to self-reliance.
