Khaberni - The artist Tamer Hosny returned to Cairo from the German capital Berlin, after a two-week treatment journey, following a sudden health crisis that necessitated delicate surgery to remove part of his kidney.
A source close to the Egyptian artist revealed in exclusive statements to "Al Arabiya.net" that Tamer Hosny arrived in Egypt in complete secrecy in order to get enough rest at his home without disturbance, especially as he is still suffering from some pain resulting from the surgical operation.
The source detailed the singer's health condition, explaining that the doctors in Egypt initially reassured him that it was merely a "small-sized cyst" in the kidney. However, he was surprised during his stay in Germany to find that it was not the case, but rather a "small-sized tumor" with a diameter of 2 centimeters, which suddenly increased in size within a few days to 3.7 centimeters, necessitating urgent surgery for its removal.
The removed part is still under analysis, and the result has not yet been released, but the medical team has greatly reassured the artist.
Tamer Hosny himself revealed the details of his health crisis that required the surgery, posting on his official Facebook page saying: "I did not want to talk about my health crisis or my personal matters.. but since the news was circulated, I would like to clarify that I have been suffering from a health crisis in the kidneys for a while".
He added: "A few days ago, my condition required immediate surgical intervention, and part of the kidney was removed. Praise be to God in all cases. Thank you to everyone who tried to check on me, and thank you to all who have prayed for me and continue to do so."
It is worth mentioning that the artist Tamer Hosny had held two successful concerts, the first in Paris and the second in Berlin, just days before he was hospitalized.
