Khaberni - The commander of the internal security forces in the Homs governorate, Brigadier Marhaf Al-Naasan, announced that a horrifying murder took place this morning in the town of Zaidal, south of the city of Homs, where a man and his wife were found killed inside their home, and the wife's body was burnt.
Sectarian slogans were found at the crime scene, in an attempt to provoke discord among the residents and destabilize social stability.
Al-Naasan confirmed that the relevant authorities immediately began taking legal measures, such as cordoning off the area, collecting evidence, and initiating an extensive investigation to uncover the details of the crime and to pursue and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He added that the security forces have taken all necessary measures to protect civilians and maintain the stability of the area, emphatically condemning the crime and urging citizens to exercise restraint and not to be drawn into discord, affirming that the security forces are handling the case with full responsibility and impartiality.
