Khaberni - Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka sparked widespread controversy among his followers after a frank statement about the amount of wealth he had accumulated from acting, confirming that money is not the primary goal of his work. El Sakka said in an interview with media personality Nizar Al-Faris: “We spend on our profession, it’s not the one spending on us”.
He added that his personal possessions do not exceed his farm and his house on the North Coast, and his home in Cairo, and that he lives a moderate and stable life, away from flaunting wealth. He also revealed the nature of his personal relationships, saying: “My circle of relationships is small, but all of Egypt are my friends”.
El Sakka continued that his artistic career was not just about making profits, but a journey filled with human and artistic experiences, until he reached a stage of maturity where he can control his choices and roles, and even his nerves and personal impulses, saying: “I am not an angel, I have goodness and evil in me, but I have reached a stage of maturity that allows me to largely control the evil inside me”.
It is worth mentioning that Ahmed El Sakka has recently started filming the movie "Khali Balak Men Nafsak," in which he stars alongside a number of prominent Egyptian actors, written by Sherif El Leithy and directed by Moataz El Tony.
