Khaberni - Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, warned of the danger of terrorist and brutal attacks carried out by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, involving burning of houses, and Palestinian properties, holding the occupation government fully responsible for stopping these escalating attacks that are carried out with the support and protection of the occupation army.
He added that the continuation of these terrorist attacks alongside the occupation authorities' ongoing seizure of Palestinian lands, including the recent lands of the historic city of Sebastia, poses a blatant challenge to the efforts of the international community, especially to the efforts of US President Donald Trump and his aspirations to establish a ceasefire in Gaza Strip, and to begin a political pathway that achieves security and stability for all.
Abu Rudeineh called on the US administration for an immediate and decisive intervention to stop this Israeli recklessness and disregard for the rights of the Palestinian people, and to cease providing support and protection for settlers to launch terrorist attacks on the Palestinian people, their land, and their sanctities.
The spokesman for the Presidency stated, "The time has come to execute international legitimacy resolutions, and to embody the independence of the Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, as this is the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, and the success of any project or plan can only be through adherence to international legality and Palestinian rights."
