Khaberni - The Meteorological Administration reported a noticeable drop in temperatures on Tuesday, leading to generally unstable weather conditions and partly to mostly cloudy skies.
It said that, God willing, showers are expected at intervals in various parts of the kingdom, occasionally accompanied by thunder, and the winds will be moderate-speed northwesterlies, occasionally strong and stirring up dust, especially in desert areas.
It added that gradually in the evening and night, the chances of rainfall weaken and the weather tends to stabilize gradually, with generally cold weather, and the winds moderate-speed northwesterlies.
The Meteorological Administration warned of reduced horizontal visibility during early morning and late-night hours due to fog over mountainous elevations and plains, and the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea area, as well as reduced horizontal visibility due to dust especially in desert areas.
According to the Meteorological Administration, tomorrow, Sunday, there will be a slight drop in temperatures, and the weather will be pleasant over mountainous elevations, and moderate in other areas, with moderate-speed southeast winds occasionally strengthening.
At night, the weather will be cold in most areas, and pleasantly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at high altitudes, and moderate-speed southeast winds.
On Monday, the weather will be pleasant over mountainous elevations, and moderate in other areas during the day, with appearances of cloud amounts at high altitudes, and moderate-speed southeast winds that shift in the afternoon to moderate northwesterlies, occasionally strengthening.
At night, the weather will be cold in most areas, and pleasantly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. During the late night hours, the kingdom will gradually be affected by an unstable weather condition where clouds multiply at various altitudes and there is a chance of scattered rain showers in parts of the western regions of the kingdom, occasionally accompanied by thunder, and the winds moderate-speed northwesterlies.
