Khaberni - The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, held a meeting with the Syrian Minister of Communications and Technology, Abdul Salam Heikal, in Damascus.
According to a ministry statement on Thursday, the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of digital transformation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, which contributes to the development of the technology systems in both countries.
Minister Samirat and his accompanying delegation, during their visit to Damascus University, reviewed the technical and digital education system.
And discussed with the university officials the opportunities for academic cooperation, and the exchange of expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and modern technologies, which supports the development of digital skills among the youth.
