Khaberni - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced on Thursday the start of implementing partial traffic diversions on the Al-Salt – Al-Siru – Amman Ahliyya University road direction towards the city of Al-Salt, as part of the ministry's comprehensive plan to maintain several main roads in the center of the kingdom.
The ministry clarified that the work will include scraping the current asphalt layer and introducing a new layer according to the latest specifications, where work will commence by separating the road with plastic barriers and starting maintenance on one part of the road while keeping the other part open for traffic flow.
The ministry added that the diversions will be applied daily from 5 PM until morning hours until the completion of the work, in cooperation with the Traffic Management, with adherence to all safety standards and measures to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the implementation period.
The ministry urges road users to abide by the instructions of the field staff and public security officers and to comply with the rules of safe driving in order to protect their safety and the safety of workers at the site.
