Khaberni - Dr. Mohammad Khreis, a consultant in laparoscopic bariatric surgery, has managed to earn the trust of patients locally, regionally, and internationally through his extensive practical experience spanning over 32 years in medical and humanitarian service, becoming a global leader in bariatric surgery and elevating Jordan's name in the medical field in this area.
Dr. Khreis studied medicine at the Jordanian University and completed his studies in Britain and France. He holds a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow), a diploma in liver and bile duct surgery from Strasbourg, France, a diploma in endoscopy from Strasbourg, France, a diploma in laparoscopic bariatric surgery from Strasbourg, France, a diploma in colorectal surgery from Strasbourg, France, the Jordanian board in general surgery and bariatric surgery, and a diploma in laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery from Strasbourg, France.
Dr. Khreis is a member of numerous global associations and federations, including the British Medical Association (BMA), the British Association of Coloproctology (BACP), the European Society for Endoscopic Surgery (EES), the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), the International Hernia Society (HIS), the European Digestive Surgery (EDS), and the European Association of Coloproctology (EACP).
Dr. Khreis founded the Kindi Hospital in the beloved capital Amman, which has a capacity of (150) beds and is considered the most modern and prominent in the region. It includes specialized medical centers in all medical specialties such as the Center for Bariatric Surgery, which conducts all bariatric operations and is internationally accredited for these procedures, as well as cosmetic surgery, liposuction, vascular surgery, fertility center, lithotripsy, interventional radiology, cancer detection (breast cancer), organ transplant surgeries, catheterization and open-heart surgery, an endoscopic unit for the gastrointestinal and biliary tract, twelve specialized operating rooms for major surgeries, and an emergency department with the latest equipment and modern ambulances. This is in addition to medical laboratory services, a pharmacy network spread across the hospital's floors and facilities, and diagnostic imaging services.
The hospital has received numerous accreditations for its medical excellence and trained, qualified staff, including accreditation from the Jordanian Medical Council as a general teaching hospital for residency programs in general surgery, anesthesia and resuscitation, gynecology and obstetrics, in addition to accreditation for internship doctor training, HCAC quality accreditation, Mammogram unit accreditation, and ISO certification for the kitchen department.

Dr. Mohammad Khreis's Center for Bariatric Surgery is the only locally accredited center by the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity, where Dr. Khreis performs many bariatric surgeries at the bariatric surgery center in Kindi Hospital, including laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic SASI operations, laparoscopic gastric bypass, laparoscopic mini gastric bypass, laparoscopic butterfly operations, the smart capsule, and laparoscopic gastric banding and gastric balloon procedures.
