Khaberni - Arab Bank continued its Ramadan community activities for this year, which aim to establish the values of mutual support and community solidarity and providing support to the less fortunate during the holy month.
Employees from Arab Bank participated in Ramadan volunteering events in collaboration with Thareed Endowment aimed at preparing and distributing food meals to the guests of the endowment. During the volunteering activities, bank employees prepared more than 2,600 hot food meals over two days and distributed them to the guests of the endowment, in an atmosphere reflecting the spirit of volunteer work that the bank is keen to establish, especially during the holy month which embodies the meanings of giving.
It should be noted that Arab Bank is one of the main supporters of the Thareed Endowment, which was established in 2022 to achieve the noble purpose of feeding people within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by providing balanced and healthy daily food meals. In the framework of ongoing cooperation between Arab Bank and Thareed Endowment, the bank contributes approximately 52,000 meals this year to needy groups, through carefully selected distribution centers, including a central site adjacent to the Al-Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman, which includes a distribution center, kitchen, and a central warehouse to meet administrative and logistical needs.
Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in terms of sustainability and community responsibility that reflects the bank's commitment to enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact through closely working with various relevant entities towards achieving sustainable development. The Arab Bank’s social responsibility program "Together", represents one of the fruits of this approach, which is a multifaceted program based on contributing to the development and nurturing of different aspects of the community through diverse initiatives and activities that serve several sectors including health, fighting poverty, environmental protection, education, supporting orphans, and empowering women.
