Khaberni - President Donald Trump described a female journalist as a "pig" after she asked about his name appearing in emails sent by the late businessman, Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes, according to CNN.
The journalist asked Trump what Epstein meant in his emails when he said that the president “knows about the girls,” to which Trump replied: "I know nothing about that."
Afterwards, the journalist said, "If there is anything condemning in the documents, sir…" before Trump interrupted her, annoyed, saying: "Be quiet, be quiet, you pig."
His latest collapse came as Trump was under pressure from journalists about why Jeffrey Epstein's files had not yet been released to the public – a subject that has been a thorn in Trump’s side since he took office.
Today, Tuesday, the U.S. House of Representatives votes on a bill that requires the publication of government records related to the late businessman, Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of sex crimes, in defiance of Trump’s attempts to keep one of the most controversial files in the country under wraps.
After weeks of resistance and behind-the-scenes pressures against the file's release, Trump finally gave in last Sunday, when it became clear that a number of Republicans in Congress would stand against the Republican president.
In a move described by the American press as a "sharp" retreat from his previous stance, Trump urged Republican members in the House of Representatives to vote in favor of disclosing the files related to Epstein, convicted of sex crimes, despite his previous opposition to this measure, considering the controversy surrounding this matter a “Democratic trick.”
