Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Momani, stated that the announcement will be made in the coming short period regarding the names of the first batch of conscripts who will be summoned for military service next year, following the completion of all constitutional stages of the law.
Al-Momani clarified that the selection process will be conducted through a neutral statistical draw, using computerized mechanisms and based on scientific principles and criteria, in adherence to the directives of His Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, emphasizing the application of the highest standards of transparency without exceptions.
As previously announced, the conscripts will be selected from Jordanian males born in 2007 who have reached the age of eighteen by January 1, 2026, amounting to 6000 young men annually, divided into three phases, each batch comprising 2000 young men within a single phase.
This comes as a continuation of what His Highness the Crown Prince announced in August last year about reactivating the military service program, where he affirmed that the program is a national step to prepare and qualify youth through military training and an organized theoretical path under the laws of military service and reserve service.
