Khaberni - The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, issued the 30th series of treasury bonds for this year worth 150 million dinars on Wednesday.
According to bank data reviewed by "Khaberni", the maturity date for the current issuance is November 13, 2035, while the bank indicated that the settlement date is November 13, 2025.
Treasury bonds are long-term financing tools with maturities ranging from two to twenty years and vary between government/treasury bonds and bonds issued by companies.
Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging between 3 and 12 months, characterized as low-risk financial instruments that are traded in the financial markets for buying and selling.
