The specialists at "Arab Weather" explained that the unstable weather conditions experienced by the Kingdom usually come with randomly patterned rainfall, leading to significant variations in the locations and intensity of the rainfall within small geographical areas, and this variation is a dangerous factor, as it contributes to significant torrential flows and formation of transferred flash floods, which move between areas without the condition of rainfall in the same region. Unstable weather conditions are characterized by rapid changes in weather within very short periods.
Unstable weather conditions increase the likelihood of hail and sudden wind activity
These conditions are also associated with an increased likelihood of falling large hailstones and sudden wind activity. Dense dust belts may also form in desert areas before the onset of thunderous rains. It is expected, God willing, that the upcoming situation will primarily focus on the southern and eastern regions of the Kingdom.

Unstable weather conditions pose a danger in some areas, as they may lead to sudden flash floods due to heavy rainfall over narrow ranges and for short periods, especially in mountainous and rocky areas, where rainwater flows from the heights to valleys. Also, previous dry seasons increase the likelihood of flood formation, as rainwater does not easily penetrate the soil but accumulates on the surface and rushes quickly in valleys and designated flood channels. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor flood channels and avoid valleys and low-lying areas in the event of unstable weather conditions or atmospheric lows.
Recommendations to cancel all outdoor activities and trips
Given the weather forecasts indicating that the Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions at the end of the week, and the accompanying chances of heavy thunderous rainfall that may lead to the formation of floods and a rise in water levels in several areas.
Arab Weather Center recommends cancelling all trips and outdoor activities in all regions of the Kingdom, especially in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea areas, starting from the end of the week until the unstable weather condition subsides.
