Khaberni - Egyptian artist Mohamed Sobhi was transferred to a hospital in the Sixth of October City to receive the necessary medical care, after suffering a severe health setback while at his home in Cairo.
Sources close to the artist reported that he is gradually regaining consciousness, and signs of improvement have begun to appear. The medical team confirmed that his health condition is stable but still requires careful monitoring in intensive care, where he is undergoing tests and analyses to determine the cause of the crisis.
Mohamed Sobhi had previously suffered a health setback a few months ago requiring intensive care, but he recovered at that time and went back to his artistic activities before the current crisis recurred.
This health development comes just days after his appearance in his first television interview in a while, where he was a guest on the program "Al Ashera" and spoke openly about his artistic and intellectual positions, emphasizing the importance of censorship in artistic works and its necessity to maintain the level of creativity.
During the conversation, he also discussed his long journey in the artistic sphere, accompanied by achievements, dreams, and challenges that shaped a professional career that spanned more than four decades.
Mohamed Sobhi's latest work was the play "Fares Reveals the Hidden," a comedic musical spectacle written and directed by him. He starred alongside Wafaa Sadik, Kamal Atiya, Rehab Hussein, Angelica Ayman, Lili Fawzi, and Dalida.
