Khaberni - On the eve of his meeting with US President Donald Trump, and in a meeting with leaders of the Syrian-American organizations in Washington, Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shar'a announced on Sunday that work is underway on a new security agreement with Israel, where Syria demands Israel to return to the borders prior to December 8.
Earlier, Syrian President Al-Shar'a, accompanied by Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Sheibani, arrived to meet the Syrian community in the American capital, Washington.
Al-Shar'a clarified that his government is striving for the stabilization of the southern front in preparation for the reconstruction phase.
Al-Shar'a also announced that the dossier of lifting sanctions on his country has entered its final stages, expecting that the results will become clear in the next two days after meeting President Trump and a number of American legislators.
