Khaberni - Deputy Khalifa Al-Diyat called for turning the Jordan Valley into a sustainable, comprehensive developmental region, relying on diversifying the economy through smart agriculture, ecological and therapeutic tourism, renewable energy, and manufacturing industries to create job opportunities and increase the region's contribution to the gross domestic product.
Al-Diyat emphasized the necessity of establishing a development authority for the valley, issuing a law for investment incentives, and adopting public-private partnerships, starting with entrepreneurial projects and forming a high-level committee to develop the vision, warning that the success of the project requires an integrated vision and not separate projects.
Al-Diyat highlighted the most important projects such as irrigation with solar energy, therapeutic resorts in Al-Hammah, solar energy stations, and food industrial zones, emphasizing the need to address water and environmental challenges through innovative solutions and environmental impact studies, calling for a serious national dialogue to activate this strategic vision.
