Khaberni - Today, Minister of Education Dr. Azmi Governorate visited a number of teachers and students after they experienced breathing difficulties due to a chemical leak in a science lab in a private school in Amman this morning.
Dr. Governorate checked on their health condition, affirming that the ministry is closely monitoring the ongoing investigations to determine the causes of the accident.
He emphasized the need for both private and public schools to adhere to general safety procedures in laboratories and to apply protocols for handling chemical substances to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
Dr. Governorate commended the significant efforts made by the civil defense teams from the moment the incident occurred, praising their quick response and efficiency in treating the injured, safely evacuating them, and their professional handling of the incident, which contributed to containing the situation in a record time.
