Khaberni - The "Wall Street Journal" reported that the house where U.S. President Donald Trump lived during the first four years of his life is being offered for sale by auction for $2.3 million.
Located in Jamaica Estates in Queens, the five-room house was built by Fred Trump, the president's father, in 1940.
The property changed hands several times after the Trump family moved out, with real estate broker Tommy Lynn last purchasing it in February of last year for $835,000.
Lynn indicated that the house was “uninhabitable” when he bought it, necessitating about half a million dollars in rehabilitation and restoration work.
Among the previous owners of the property, businessman Michael Davis purchased it in 2016 for about $1.4 million, and then sold it on the day of Trump's inauguration in 2017 to a Chinese buyer for $2.1 million, reflecting the large fluctuations in the property's value associated with the U.S. president.
