Egyptian artist Amal Maher officially announced her engagement to businessman Ali Mahjoub, putting an end to the rumors circulated by the public in recent days.
The announcement was made spontaneously through her "Instagram" account, where she posted a series of photos from a recent photo session, and was surprised by Ali Mahjoub with a comment saying: "Proud of you, you are everything to me", to which Amal Maher replied with words full of love saying: "My heart.. I love you".
The news, which spread quickly on social media, made Amal Maher's name top the trend lists in Egypt and the Arab world, amid broad congratulations from her audience and admirers.
For his part, media personality Rabie Henedy revealed that the couple is currently spending their honeymoon in Paris, with the artist set to return to Cairo soon to resume her artistic activities and prepare new works after a period of absence.
