Amidst fear and confusion, the family was forced to leave their home and live outdoors, yet the fires also ignited among the belongings they took out with them, increasing the mystery surrounding what was happening.
Khaberni - The city of Şanlıurfa in southern Turkey is experiencing a state of anxiety after the spread of a strange story, involving a Turkish family that experiences repeated fires wherever they reside, with no logical explanation for the incident.
According to Turkish media citing residents, flames ignite inside the family's home about 3 times daily without a clear reason. The matter did not stop at the home's limits; when the family sought safety by visiting some neighbors, fires also erupted in their homes, which led residents to avoid hosting the family members for fear of repeats.
Facing these mysterious incidents, the neighborhood residents resorted to playing the Holy Quran over loudspeakers throughout the day, amidst popular beliefs that the family might have been exposed to a "curse" or "demonic affliction".
The local authorities have launched an investigation into the incidents to determine the possible causes, but the relevant authorities have not yet announced any official results, while fires are still being reported continuously, placing the family's life in perpetual danger.
The mysterious story sparked a wave of controversy on social media, and tweeters said that what is happening "could be an affliction or a curse," while others called for sending experts in paranormal phenomena and energies to uncover the causes, with one commenter writing: "This cannot be scientifically explained… perhaps it's related to some mysterious energy or magic".
