Jordanian Pharmacists Lose Patience

Khaberni - Public sector pharmacists expressed their deep dissatisfaction with what they described as the ongoing marginalization they have suffered for years, and affirmed their refusal of what they considered negligence by the head of the pharmacists and the council of the syndicate in performing their duty towards the general body, emphasizing that they will not stand idly by in the face of this neglect and will not hesitate to defend their rights by all possible and available means.

The pharmacists stated in their statement that three years have passed with unfulfilled promises and anesthetic syringes without any tangible results, pointing out that the continued injustice and marginalization of a fundamental segment of the health personnel working in the hospital and health center system of the Ministry of Health does not bode well.
The statement emphasized that the patience of public sector pharmacists has run out, and they will not accept the continuation of the disregard and negligence, demanding the syndicate and the Ministry of Health to take serious and urgent steps to do them justice and establish a clear and time-specific action plan to address their deteriorating conditions.
The pharmacists held the head of the pharmacists and members of the council of the syndicate, before His Excellency the Minister of Health, fully responsible for the deterioration of the conditions of public sector pharmacists, based on their legal positions and the commitments they made in their election programs.
They called on the Minister of Health to be more courageous in making equitable decisions, and not to follow the path of his predecessors, affirming that if the head of the pharmacists and his council fail to convey the voice of public sector pharmacists, then the minister is capable of direct communication with them and listening to their demands.
The pharmacists confirmed that they will resort to all legitimate union and legal means to obtain their rights and hold the negligent accountable, emphasizing that the next phase will not resemble the previous ones, and that they will not tolerate any form of negligence or marginalization after today.
The statement concluded by affirming that the advancement of the health sector is only achieved by doing justice to all its personnel, especially the pharmacists who have always demonstrated their loyalty and high professionalism in serving the citizen and the nation.
