Alsafadi Jordan is the clearest country in condemning Israeli aggressions and rejecting them

Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Alsafadi emphasized on Wednesday that Jordan's position on Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people is firm, clear, and has not changed, affirming that the Kingdom continues to work to stop the aggression and protect the rights of the Palestinian people.

At the beginning of a legislative session in the House of Representatives, Alsafadi said that Jordan's position regarding the Israeli aggressions is clear and explicit, which has been repeatedly expressed by the Kingdom, emphasizing that Jordan condemns all forms of Israeli aggression against the Palestinians, especially in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

He added that talking about the absence of a clear Jordanian position on Israeli aggression is inaccurate, confirming that Jordan was among the clearest countries in condemning Israeli aggressions and rejecting them, and that this stance represents a consistent approach in Jordanian policy.

Regarding diplomatic relations, Alsafadi clarified that there is no operational Israeli embassy in Jordan and no Israeli diplomatic presence since the outbreak of the war on Gaza, pointing out that the Kingdom has faced any Israeli statements or positions that may affect Jordan with firmness and clarity.

He emphasized that the security of Jordan and its sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its citizens are red lines, and that the Kingdom has informed Israel of the need to respect Jordan's sovereignty and not to violate its national interests.

Alsafadi also mentioned that Jordan deals with threats and attacks targeting it or its partners in the Arab Gulf states, affirming that the security of Jordan and the Arab Gulf states is interlinked and indivisible, and any attack on these states is considered an attack on Jordan.

He reiterated the affirmation that Jordan will continue to work for calm and stability in the region, while maintaining its security, interests, and national rights.

Alsafadi confirmed that parliamentary records and media prove that Jordan has never ceased to express its position rejecting the Israeli occupation and aggression against the Palestinians, rejecting policies of starvation in Gaza, attempts to annex the West Bank, as well as rejecting any attempts to change the historical and legal status in the Islamic and Christian holy sites.
