Suspension of Operations at Bremen Airport in Germany Due to an Unknown Drone

Khaberni - The German news agency "DPA" reported, citing the police, that flights at Bremen Airport in western Germany were suspended after a drone was detected near the airport.

The police indicated that the drone was spotted at around 19:30 local time, and the airport management decided to immediately suspend flight departures and arrivals.

As of 20:22, flights at the airport were resumed, according to a police statement.

The German authorities had detected similar incidents at least 3 times in the last month, where operations at Berlin Brandenburg Airport were suspended on the previous Friday night, and Munich Airport on October 2 and 4 due to unknown drones.

Earlier, the media reported drones being spotted near several sites across various European countries, including France, Denmark, Germany, Norway, and others.

Media reports suspected Russia was behind launching drones in European skies, but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied the validity of these reports, affirming that these accusations are baseless.
