Khaberni - A man and a woman were killed and at least 10 people were injured in a shooting in a village on the Greek island of Crete, today Saturday, described by a senior police officer as a family feud.
The police have not yet provided information about the suspect who opened fire in the village of Vorizia.
A second police official said the attack followed an explosion on Friday evening at a construction site where a bomb had been planted.
The two police officials requested that their identities not be disclosed.
The island of Crete often witnesses violent incidents between families driven by motives including vendettas.
The second official said that senior security officials, including the police chief and the head of the organized crime unit, are on their way to Crete.
