Mbappé explains why he remains single

Khaberni - Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid star, spoke candidly about his love life and the difficulty of maintaining a relationship given his widespread fame.

In an interview with the French magazine "L'Équipe", the Frenchman admitted that football has imposed his lifestyle on him, and that his career has been his priority.

Mbappé said, "Everyone builds their life differently. I chose to focus on football and make the most of my career. Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe I'm right. Time will tell."

The French international explained that fame complicates relationships: "There's a thin line between suspicion and scrutiny. Some people want to hurt you, but not everyone. Don't think too much about it, just go for it."

The French striker reflected on the difficulty of finding the right partner when the world's eyes are on you. He added, "Life is a game of luck. It's often said that the bold succeed, so you have to try. What is difficult in football might be harder when dealing with others' views."

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco player also talked about his fear of making mistakes publicly. "Making mistakes is possible, and if I make them, I must rise again."

In the same context, Mbappé's mother, Fayza Lamari, acknowledged the difficulty of finding a suitable life partner for her son. She said, "I recently asked him if he had a girlfriend. He replied: Do you see a girlfriend in this chaos? He has already been in several relationships, and it's not easy for us all."

Performance in the Field

On the pitch, Mbappé started the 2025-2026 season strongly, having scored 3 goals in 3 matches for Real Madrid, continuing to show his attacking prowess. Moreover, he surpassed Thierry Henry as the second-highest all-time scorer for the French national team, with 52 goals.

The player will receive the Golden Boot award tomorrow, Friday, before Real Madrid hosts Valencia in the Spanish league. The Frenchman scored 31 goals with Real Madrid in the 2024-2025 season, making him Europe's top scorer that season.

A significant personal tribute to him will be held in the VIP hall at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The president of the club, Florentino Pérez, and the team's coach, Xabi Alonso, will be among the attendees, alongside his teammates.

It is worth mentioning that the captain of the French national team won the Pichichi award (top scorer in the Spanish league) last season, outperforming Robert Lewandowski.

Real Madrid, leading the Spanish league after 10 rounds with 27 points (9 wins and one loss), is 5 points ahead of Barcelona and will host Valencia this coming Saturday.

The royal club won 2-1 against the Catalan team after a tense Clásico match last Sunday, which saw Kylian Mbappé increasing his tally to 19 goals in all competitions.
