Khaberni - Al-Hussein Irbid advanced to the top of the professional league today, Wednesday, by defeating its neighbor Al-Ramtha with a clean triple score, within the events of round 24 of the championship which was held at Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid.
The three goals for Al-Hussein were scored by Yusuf Abu Jalboush, the English professional Ashley Cofie, and Yusuf Qishi, all of which came in the first half.
The Royal Club raised its score to the first place to 52 points, followed by Al-Wehdat with 49 points and Al-Faisaly, which will face Al-Salt on Friday with the same score, while Al-Ramtha remained in fourth place with the same score.
Al-Hussein Irbid has a postponed match with Al-Sarhan Club, and winning it would ensure them the lead solo.
