The government announces 5 future investment projects in Amman at a cost of 749 million dinars

Khaberni - The government has announced a set of future development projects in the capital governorate, valued at more than 749 million dinars, to be implemented in partnership with the private sector through the Ministry of Investment, within the framework of the economic modernization vision.

The projects are distributed across sectors of infrastructure, water, education, and public services, which will enhance the investment environment and contribute to creating job opportunities and improving the quality of services for citizens.

According to official data, the projects include; first, the design and construction of the Medical City bridge that connects the areas of Suweileh and Naour using a toll bridge, with an estimated cost of 460 million dinars, and it is expected to be executed from 2026 to 2030.

The projects also include the rehabilitation of water networks in South Amman aimed at reducing water loss, costing 200 million dinars for the period from 2026 to 2028, and in partnership with the private sector.

A new slaughterhouse for the Amman Municipality will be established in the Madouna area at a cost of 50 million dinars during the years 2026 – 2028, in addition to the establishment of eight public schools in a partnership between public and private sectors, costing 33 million dinars for the same period.

The projects also include the development of a specialized station for treating wastewater and industrial by-products in the King Abdullah II Industrial City in the Sahab area, costing 6 million dinars for the period 2026 – 2028.
