JD 5 Notes with Different Signatures in Markets and the Central Bank Clarifies the Truth

Khaberni - The Central Bank of Jordan confirmed that JD 5 currency notes were issued for circulation during the holiday period bearing the signatures of the current Minister of Finance, Dr. Abdul Hakeem Al-Shibli, and the current Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Adel Al-Sharkas. These legal currency notes were put into circulation without any restrictions, alongside the previously issued notes of the same denomination.
The bank noted that the JD 5 notes issued for circulation during the holiday period are part of the fifth current series, and are identical to it in terms of shape, design, and security features. The difference in signatures does not affect the authenticity of the currency note or its value, as it only reflects different time periods of their issuance.
The Central Bank added the importance of verifying the authenticity of the currency notes through the integrated security features, such as the watermark, security thread, and fine printing. More information can be found on the bank's website.
