Khaberni - Fawaz al-Shaqa, the chairman of the board of the Restoring Hope Association for supporting amputees, said that the association, by royal directives, will send two additional vehicles to the northern part of the sector to be operated in the Tal Al-Hawa area alongside the two vehicles currently available.
He added in statements to the "Al-Mamlaka" channel that the goal of expanding the initiative is to enable service providers and build their capacities in installing prosthetic limbs and providing psychological and physical rehabilitation services in the Gaza Strip, to enable them to sustain and expand the beneficiary segment.
He mentioned that the number of beneficiaries from the initiative has reached 600 amputees.
He continued, "The King's vision is that the Restoring Hope initiative be a Jordanian center of excellence to serve the entire region."
