Khaberni - The Jordan Valley Authority has announced the continuation of medium emergency conditions; due to the ongoing impact of a state of atmospheric instability on the kingdom, occasionally resulting in heavy rainfall and the formation of flash floods in some regions.
The Authority, in a statement, has called on citizens, farmers, and livestock breeders to coordinate with its teams to ensure the protection of property and lives, as well as the necessity of staying away from water gathering areas, dams, and watercourses and flash floods, and to take advantage of the rainfall and store it in agricultural ponds to maximize water harvesting.
It said that it is continuing to activate its emergency rooms, confirming the readiness of its staff, machinery, and equipment in the Jordan Valley areas, the Control Directorate, and all its other directorates, as well as the dam sites throughout the kingdom, as part of the emergency plan.
It also emphasized that its standby teams in all the Authority's administrations in the Jordan Valley are ready around the clock to respond to citizens' calls and take necessary measures, and to deal with any developments in weather conditions, through communication with the management of water resources of the northern and central Jordan Valley at the number 0780469438, and the management of water resources of the southern Jordan Valley at the number 0780022259, to ensure everyone's safety.
