Khaberni - Prime Minister Ja'far Hassan announced that the government will open the Amman Civil Airport in Marka next month, after it had been closed for years.
Hassan confirmed during the cabinet session held in Amman on Wednesday, that reopening the airport will enhance economic and tourism opportunities for the capital, Amman, and the kingdom at large.
The Minister of Transport, Nidal Al-Qatamin, emphasized the importance of expediting the completion of licensing and operational procedures for the Amman Civil Airport within the set timeframe.
