Khaberni - In just one week, the Egyptian art scene witnessed five marriages among a number of stars, and the public heavily interacted with them.
The beginning was with the actress Menna Shalabi, who announced her marriage to the Egyptian producer Ahmed El Genainy after some news about their secret marriage spread and their marriage document was circulated amid silence from both parties.
However, Shalabi decided to break that silence with the official announcement of the marriage, then the couple celebrated this happy occasion with the public on their various social media accounts, posting photos of them together.
A grand ceremony at Mohamed Ali Palace
A few days later, the young artist Hatem Salah surprised his fans by marrying a woman from outside the art scene and held a grand celebration at Prince Mohamed Ali Palace in Manial area, Cairo, attended by many stars, including artists Ahmed El Sakka, Amr Saad, Ahmed Fahmy, Rogina, Ashraf Zaki, taking over search engines on various social media platforms with the hashtag "The Art Scene Groom".
Stars of "Arab Idol" and "The Voice"
The third wedding in the art scene was for the young singer Ahmed Jamal, star of "Arab Idol", and singer Farah El Mougy, star of "The Voice" and granddaughter of the late composer Mohamed El Mougy.
The wedding was held at a hotel in Cairo, attended by many of Egypt’s singing stars, among them Tamer Ashour, Ramy Sabry, Hamada Hellal, Mostafa Amar, Mai Farouk, Hisham Abbas, Ahmed Batshan, and others.
She concealed her groom's features
Meanwhile, actress Darine Hadad announced her marriage to a man from outside the art scene, deliberately adding a suspenseful and mysterious aura around the groom's identity, as she posted a photo with him on her personal Instagram account but obscured his features, merely announcing the marriage.
Similarly, singer Heidi Moussa, star of "Star Academy", celebrated her marriage to the Egyptian broadcaster Mohamed Ghanem, held in the Giza Pyramids area, attended only by family members and close friends, although she confirmed that she is preparing for a large party that will be held in the coming days, attended by stars of the art and media scene.
