Khaberni - Casio, a Japanese company, has launched a new series of watches that are the size of a ring; with dimensions of 23.4 × 20 × 7.5 mm, while they weigh only six grams.
The Japanese company explained that the new G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 series includes three models.
With its size, which does not exceed one-tenth the size of a traditional G-Shock watch, the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 watch initially appears to be a distinctive piece for collectors or a smart device, but it is in fact a fully functional watch; it has been equipped with a digital LCD screen and retains the basic features of the G-Shock watch series such as dual time, stopwatch, automatic calendar, and a flashing light alarm that activates at specific times.
Despite its small size, the watch series includes three practical side buttons that can be used to change modes and activate the LED light.
The new watch series boasts shock resistance, as well as water resistance up to a depth of 200 meters. The battery is replaceable, while its lifespan is approximately two years.
The frame and strap are made from recycled plastic, and the size of the watch can be adjusted from 48 mm to 82 mm using traditional strap slots.
