Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Palestinian police, Colonel Luai Arzeqat, reported today, Saturday, the killing of a citizen aged (56 years) in the town of Ain Arik west of Ramallah, while his wife was seriously injured.
Arzeqat explained that the police have arrested the suspect accused of committing the crime, while the public prosecution has begun its procedures, ordered the body to be referred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy to determine the causes of death, and to complete the necessary legal investigations.
According to local sources, the town of Ain Arik west of Ramallah woke up at dawn today to a horrifying crime, after a young man stabbed his father, Professor Imad Shahin, and seriously wounded his mother, Khaberni, while trying to stab his sisters who managed to hide and lock their room door before the police intervened and prevented a massacre against the family.
According to local sources, the police operations room of the province received a report in the early morning hours indicating the presence of two stabbing incidents inside a house in Ain Arik, without precise information about the perpetrators.
