The Crown Prince sponsors the closing ceremony of the Camel Racing Championship and Nabati Poetry Festival

Khaberni - His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, sponsored in Wadi Rum today, Thursday, the closing ceremony of the second Arab Cup for Camels, which the kingdom is hosting for the first time, and the fifth session of the Jordan Camel Racing and Nabati Poetry Festival.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince followed the final rounds of the Arab Cup for Camels and the Jordanian Camel Races Festival, which were held at the Sheikh Zayed Camel Racing Track in the Disah area, in addition to a presentation given by the Camel Riding Unit of the Public Security Directorate.

His Highness delivered, in the presence of the President of the Arab Federation for Camel Racing, His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, awards to those who achieved top places in the Arab Cup for Camel Racing, and the Jordanian Camel Racing and Nabati Poetry Festival.

Participants in the Arab Cup for Camel Racing 2025 included competitors from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Somalia, and Djibouti.

Ali Al-Masamrah, president of the Jordanian Camel Racing Committee, in a speech he gave, stated that the support and interest of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in the sport of camel racing has contributed to its development, which enhances Jordan's position on the map of Arab and international camel racing sports, including hosting the Arab Cup for Camels.

Al-Masamrah indicated that camel racing in the kingdom is witnessing significant development, pointing to Jordan's previous successes in organizing championships in this field, with the aim of reinforcing heritage with its authentic values and traditions.

Several senior civil and military officials attended the closing ceremony.
