Jordan Football poles on their way to the professional league and basketball poles apologize

Khaberni - While the Jordanian football poles Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat are competing in the classification league qualifying for the professional basketball league, the Jordanian basketball poles apologized for not participating in the league for the current season.
The return phase of the classification league begins in a few days, with 5 teams participating, 3 of which qualify for the professional league, with The English Schools team leading the phase with 8 points, followed by Al-Faisaly with 7 points, then Al-Wehdat with 6 points, Al-Muqawloon with 5 points, and finally Prince Hamzah (Aqaba) team with 4 points.
For their part, Al-Orthodox Club (25 league championships) and Al-Ahli (24 championships) apologized for not participating in the professional basketball league this season.
Al-Ahli Club stated in a statement that the decision came after studying a number of administrative and technical observations, including the lack of a professional vision and financial challenges facing the clubs, as well as the impact of increasing the number of foreign players on the participation chances of local players, and the need to reconsider the mechanisms for developing age categories and organizing competitions.
For its part, Al-Orthodox Club informed the Jordanian Basketball Federation of its official apology for participating in the upcoming season without disclosing additional reasons, limiting communication to the official procedures adopted.
