Khaberni - The German website "Aponet.de" states that green tea has numerous health benefits, as it is rich in antioxidants, which support the immune system.

The site, which is the official portal for German pharmacists, added that green tea is particularly beneficial for people at risk of developing type 2 diabetes, as it helps improve heart and vascular health by combating inflammatory processes in cells.

Research indicates that drinking 4 cups of green tea daily helps reduce cholesterol, body weight, and body mass index.

Mineral Absorption

"Aponet.de" added that the production processes of black tea significantly reduce the antioxidant content in tea leaves, indicating that green tea contains higher levels of "tannin" compounds, which may impair the body's absorption of minerals.

Therefore, people who suffer from anemia or iron deficiency should be cautious when consuming green tea, especially with meals, as it can hinder the absorption of iron.
