Khaberni - Comedian and American content creator Steve Bridges passed away at the age of 41 in his sleep, as announced by his wife Chelsea Bridges on his official Instagram account.
Chelsea said in a video she posted: "I apologize to say this in this way, but Steve passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning," adding: "I loved him so much.. and his departure came too soon."
The Peoria police in Illinois, according to TMZ, stated that the death was most likely due to natural causes, while the family has not announced additional details.
Bridges was famous for his comedic videos on the TikTok platform, where he presented short scenes satirizing everyday situations and embodied various characters such as "the negligent father" and "the school worker" and "the oldest person at the party," with more than 2.1 million users following him.
His wife praised his talent, stating that what he presented online did not represent his true personality, adding: "He was actually a kind person, a loving father, and a wonderful husband."
She added that her husband had been taking care of his health lately and continued to work on writing and filming clips, indicating that the family is grateful for the audience that supported Steve in his comedic career.
Steve and Chelsea were married 16 years ago and have three children: a 14-year-old daughter and 10-year-old twins.
The family announced that a small-scale memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
