Shackled in chains and with a thick beard Mohamed Ramadan stirs interaction via Asad

Khaberni - Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan unveiled the official promotional poster for his upcoming movie "Asad," which brings him back to the cinema after a hiatus, where he appeared shackled in chains, attracting wide interaction on social media platforms.

Ramadan posted the poster on his official Instagram account, commenting, "Coming soon to all cinemas in Egypt and the Arab world... Trust in God is success."

In the movie, Mohamed Ramadan presents a different look, adopting a curly hairstyle and a thick beard, signaling the historic nature of the character he portrays.

The work belongs to the historical film category and revolves around the year 1280 AD, during the Mamluk rule of Egypt, when the slaves led a revolt against the Abbasid army. The film is written by Mohamed, Khaled, and Sherine Diab, directed by Mohamed Diab, and its story is based on events inspired by history.

Joining Ramadan in the starring role are Majed ElKadwani, Razan Jamal, Kamel El Basha, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, and Ahmed Abdel Hamid.

It is worth noting that Mohamed Ramadan's last drama appearance was in the series "Jaafar El Omda," which was aired in Ramadan 2023 and achieved widespread public success. It was written and directed by Mohamed Sami, featuring several stars, including Hala Sedki, Zeina, Iman El Aasy, and Monzer Reyahna.

In another context, the management of the Global Village in Dubai announced the selection of Mohamed Ramadan to open the 30th season concerts on the main stage on Saturday, October 25, in a concert that kicks off a series of anticipated musical events featuring a selection of Arab and international artists.
